    Eye : Violet ruby, sticky viscosity. Young rims Nose : Cherry, oak, pepper, leather. Mouth : Fine structure & silky texture, med bodied. Some fruit jam and dry tannic finish. Med length. Overall lots of fruit and bright acidity, round and some complexity. If without decanting, the acidity will be overwhelming and the wine is pretty much closed and dull.

    Pates or other charcuterie, pork or veal roasts, rich, cheesy gratins and even hamburgers.
